This professional photographer was born and raised in an artistic family in Detroit, Michigan. Although he wasn\'t great at drawing, he developed a passion for all forms of art and was drawn to photography during his visits to art museums. His love for the outdoors started with the Boy Scouts and grew over the years, and he has now visited over 25 National Parks and numerous state parks. His passion for photography was ignited during a hike in Point Lobos State Park with a cheap digital camera, and he has since honed his skills through self-teaching, online classes, and learning from other great photographers. His goal is to capture the beauty of the world and share it with others through his photography, which has given him the freedom to travel, spend time with his family, and create art from his photos. His favorite places to visit include Big Sur, any Utah National Park, Saguaros, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and anyplace new. He is married to a wonderful woman and has two children and three grandkids, and considers himself the luckiest person in the world. He believes in supporting the National and State park systems, recognizing their importance for the next generation, and encourages others to support the arts and always enjoy life.
