INTRO: More than a painting, but not strictly a sculpture, my art is a mixture of both, creating rich, spatial, textural images, reminiscent of a frieze in ancient architecture. The best way to describe it is a modern type of relief sculpture. Unique fibers and artifacts are embedded into the sculptures then they are painted in an antiquing method, with concentrated watercolors. Hope you enjoy my artwork! - Connie B

Art has always been my life from crayons to my first set of oil paints at age 11.

I sold my first painting in junior high and have been on a continual path of learning and educating myself ever since, collecting awards and adding to other peoples collections.

The love of color and texture are often an inspiration for my paintings, along with the study of ancient cultures.

Near a rural community on the eastern edge of the Sandhills in Nebraska, is where I call home.
