Title: “Black Ammonite“. Ancient lifeforms. This is a closeup macrophotograph of a fossilized ammonite of the genus Cleoniceras, found in sediments on Madagascar dated at 65 million years ago. These are ancient ancestors of the living pearly nautilus.
This presentation is a gallery-wrap canvas. It is a photograph printed on canvas, coated, and stretched on a keyed stretcher bar.
