Title: “Black Ammonite“. Ancient lifeforms. This is a closeup macrophotograph of a fossilized ammonite of the genus Cleoniceras, found in sediments on Madagascar dated at 65 million years ago. These are ancient ancestors of the living pearly nautilus.
Description
This presentation is a photograph mounted, laminated and framed. The lamination seals the print and no glass is used and there is no light reflection from the surface of the image. It is presented in a wood frame with linen liner. Frame and liner add 2.5” in each dimension.
The image is offered here in my online shop framed in a 18″ x 24″ size and a 22” x 30” size. Also offered as a canvas presentation in an 18” x 24” size and a 22” x 30″ size. Larger sizes available.
